Choosing the right size
Every painting on our site comes in a few standard sizes, shown as buttons above the Add to Cart button on each product page. Here's a quick way to picture how each one fits your wall.
- Small / desk & shelf scale (around 12x24 to 16x24 inch): Great above a desk, nightstand, or as part of a gallery wall grouping with other pieces.
- Medium (around 16x36 to 24x36 inch): A strong single statement piece above a sofa, bed, or dining table when paired with the furniture below it.
- Larger formats: Where offered, these work best as the focal point of a room with 8+ ft ceilings or a long wall.
As a rule of thumb, wall art should span roughly two-thirds the width of the furniture it hangs above (for example, over a 6 ft sofa, look for a piece 4-5 ft wide, or a grouped arrangement that adds up to that width).
Which format should I choose?

About this painting
Nymphéas (Water Lilies) is the title Monet gave to the vast series of paintings depicting the water-lily pond in his garden at Giverny, which occupied him from the late 1890s until his death in 1926 and grew to almost 300 canvases, more than 40 of them large-format. The generic title on this listing does not identify one specific canvas within that series, so the exact painting, its precise date, and its present collection could not be confirmed. The best-known group of large Nymphéas panels, a gift from Monet to the French state in 1918, is permanently installed at the Musée de l'Orangerie in Paris.
